| My front tires have a slight feather on the outside edge of each tire. The feather runs around the circumference of the tire with the high edge pointing to the front of the vehicle. I know feather-edge wear is caused by excessive toe literally dragging the tire sideways. I also know that when the feather runs across the tire tread: a.) Excessive toe-in scrubs the tires so that the high end of each feather points toward the center of the vehicle. b/) Excessive toe-out creates a feather pattern wherein the high edge points outward. However, my pattern is running around the tire tread, not across it. Any theories on whether is too much, too little toe?
